Dr. Kevin Skinner
Dr. Kevin Skinner is senior pastor at aldea. His role includes providing key leadership in the shaping of aldea’s vision and ministry. Kevin is also a regular speaker on Sunday mornings where his teaching is practical and inspirational—sometimes even stellar.
Kevin has been married to Sylvia, his high-school sweetheart, for 28 years. Together they have three sons: David, who is married to Bethany; Matthew, a junior at the University of Arizona (but studying in Berlin for the year); and Michael, a freshman at the UofA (and who is often seen drumming on Sunday mornings at aldea).
Kevin holds a Master of Divinity from Bethel Theological Seminary, as well as a Doctor of Ministry in Marriage and Family Therapy from Denver Seminary. When not engaged in serious practices, he loves motorcycling and backpacking. He can sometimes be seen dancing with reckless abandon—in his living room.
Rob Curcio
Rob Curcio is the Executive Director of aldea. He is responsible for the daily operations of the community. Originally from New York, he decided to attend college in Arizona and graduated from NAU in 1990 with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management.
After Michelle (college sweetheart) and Rob married in 1995, they moved around the country for about a year, including stops in places like Athens, GA, Dothan, AL, and Lewiston, ID. They decided to settle in Tucson in 1998, where Rob and Michelle quickly got started on raising a family. Mikayla, now 11 years old, was born only 3 months after the move. Nicolette, now 8, was born 3 seemingly short years later.
Some of Rob's passions are music, hunting and fishing, and outdoor activities in general. You can usually find him on stage on Sundays cutting a rug on the bass.
Germar Townsend
Youth Director Germar Townsend has worked with youth for over eight years and in church ministries for four years. His education includes degrees in media and technology. Since
moving to Tucson, Germar has been impressed with the passion youth have for social justice, education and service.
One of Germar's favorite quotes is, "Life should be livable for everyone." That statement has become a personal mission of his and is evidenced by his service with the AmeriCorps program, community organizing efforts and term as Vice-President of his neighborhood association.

Mark serves as the Pastor of Music and Arts for aldea. In this role, Mark provides a creative catalyst for the community’s Sunday morning gatherings. He is also engaged in crafting concerts, art shows, and other creative expressions within aldea. Mark has been a professional musician off and on for years, and is a talented singer/songwriter, guitar player, and an all-around VHM (Very Handsome Man). Mark can be seen often on Friday or Saturday nights playing with his Blues/Soul band in one of Tucson’s finer establishments—a prelude to tearing it up on Sundays at aldea.
