Carry, I agree i am ready to go. We are going to start in two weeks from this Sunday. We have people who have asked us to give them just a little more time. So in two weeks we are going to start reading “The Heart of Christianity.” I think we would like to start with a little more user friendly book. Pete mentioned that you all are reading “What Would Jesus Deconstruct” is that right? Anyways we are very much looking forward to having this space together. Talk to you all soon, Jared

Laurie, we are announcing it this week. I think it is a good idea to have maybe read the intro or first chapter by that first week. I didn’t think about that, thanks. We will have that all figured out this Sunday when we announce it. I am looking forward to having you be a part of this. Jared

that’s cool. i was thinking we’d be discussing “the weakness of god” but i’d be up for the borg one. and yeah, i think the minikon bookgroup is discussing “what would jesus deconstruct?”
i’ll get hold of a copy of “heart of christianity” asap. i’ll be in tucson by then - in fact, i’ll make the first couple of chapters reading material for the journey on the 1st. (just in case Will and i run out of things to say en route.)
we’ll be arriving in pretty late on the 1st so it might be a little ambitious to say, “See you at aldea on the 2nd”, but regardless i look forward to seeing you over coffee or something more medicinal soon thereafter. and i owe an outstanding debt to Sylvia in the form of a promised session on the trampoline. i’m around ’til 7th April.
looking forward to getting my teeth, or indeed brain, into something. the little grey cells need a workout.

you now that is a very good questions. i really like “forums” better than blogs. they just seem easier and more comprehensive. we were going to create our own, but the ikon forum is already set up. so all that being said we will probably use that space. i hope you do join us, thanks for the question. jared
oh cool. i think forums are better spaces for discussion. they’re just easier to read and it helps to be able to quote someone else’s post (or part of it) where there are more than two people in the discussion. cheers! Sx
